Family

My older brother is in town from Arkanasas, He brought his daughter to college, so this is one of those times that living in a college town is great! my younger sister came over and so did my Mom and Dad, and we had a great visit. I loved it.

While we were visiting Mr Roberts took Jess to the airport. he dropped her off thinking all was well, when he received a phone call from her stating that she didn't have a ticket for that flight..... he had booked the flight and therefore needed to take care fo things... they told him that he had booked the flight for tomorrow (which would not work as she has to work tomorrow). He did some magic and some how she got on the flight. what a man! I can't understand how he could have gotten wrong, as he had the flight number, time etc correct for today ( I think the airline messed up)

My heart is saddened tonight.... I heard a story of a young man that took $10.00 from another young man. They were friends, and the first young man had worked for the later at one point. Now I will be the first to say that taking something that doesn't belong to is WRONG! but it is what happened after that I feel so badly about. The person that had the money stolen took matters into his own hands. He lied to a young women telling her he needed to get some keys from the thief, so she knocked on his door and when he answered, the victim pushed past the young women and jumped the young man punching him continually in the head and acting like a crazed mad man. his buddy held the young women back and would not intervene. Finally the young women threatened to call the police and they left, but the young man was really beat up....
The part that saddens my heart the most is the fact, I believe everyone has a price where they somewhat "sell their soul" I believe the victim "sold his soul" for the $10.00. He was crazed over that small amount of money. I think the "thief" needs to pay it back. I think he needs to apologize, but! I don't think he needed to be beat to a pulp. Violence never solves problems.

Harlem Globe Trotters

My family is my life. Both Robin and I are so proud of each of them.
I can't believe how fast they have grown and began lives for themselves.
our family is very close, and we enjoy doing things together.
This past week we went to see the globe trotters. It was fun, but the most fun was on the way home. we laughed and laughed at the jokes and anticks of the kids. Mike and Brandon staged a fight in the parking lot which had some poor little kids worried they were going to hurt each other. But all was well, as usual they were just kidding around.
